Latte, Espresso kahvesi ile birlikte sütün bir araya gelmesi ile oluşan İtalyan usulü bir kahve çeşitidir. Kelime anlamı Süt olan Lattenin asıl kullanım adı, Caffe Latte’dir.
İtalyanların genel olarak sabah kahvaltılarında kullandıkları köpüklü latte, Türkiye’de de kafe ortamlarının yaygınlaşmasıyla tüketilmeye başlanmıştır.
Latte, kahve makinesi ile en lezzetli şekilde yapılmaktadır. Kahve makinesiyle ayrıca süt köpürtme vb. yapılabilir. Fakat kahve makineniz yok diye de üzülmeye gerek yok. Evinizde de kafelerdeki gibi olmasa bile gayet güzel bir şekilde lattelerinizi normal yollar ile hazırlayabilirsiniz.
Latte, espressonun süt ile birleşmesinden oluşan bir kahve çeşididir demiştik.
Evde latte hazırlamak istediğiniz takdirde kahve makineniz olmadığı varsayılarak, size bir adet ocak üstü espresso cezvesi veya French Press gerekmektedir.
Kullanacağınız espresso için ise uygun olan kahveler, yoğun aromalı kahve çekirdeklerinden çekilmiş güzel kahve çekirdeklerinden oluşmalıdırlar.
Latte İçin Gerekli Olan Malzemeler
– 1 adet ocak üstü espresso cezvesi veya French Press.
– Mikser, el blenderi veya süt çırpma makinesi.
– 1 bardak (250 ml) süt.
– Hazırlanacak her bir kupa için 8 gram olacak şekilde öğütülmüş olarak hazırlanan espresso kahvesinin çekirdekleri.
– İsteğe bağlı şekilde konulabilecek Hindistan cevizi, aromalı şurup veya tarçın
